Description
the new plan, which has the advantage that i dont have to saw the 28" long steel rails
and i get a huge uh carving volume
like 18" wide, 18" deep, 11" tall ( i bought 35cm leadscrew i wanted them to fit in my mailbox )
2 lead screws, 2 motors for the z axis since it has a heavy load to move
it may sometimes get replaced with a turn-table
the bed, which moves back and forth on the desk surface may also get 2 motors and 2 belt drives
the other advantage is that the tool doesnt have to extend far from the linear motion stage on which it's bolted
